🎬 Vespro della Beata Vergine

About

Vespro della Beata Vergine is a large-scale sacred work by Claudio Monteverdi, published in 1610. It sets vesper psalms, hymns and motets for soloists, choir and instruments, and stands as one of the most significant compositions of the early Baroque - bridging Renaissance polyphony with the emerging concertato style.
