Vanessa Paradis
French singer and actress Vanessa Paradis performs at Melkweg Amsterdam with her biggest hits.
Vanessa Paradis is a French singer, actress and model, born on 22 December 1972 in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés. At fourteen she topped the French charts for eleven weeks with 'Joe le taxi', a song that crossed borders at a time when French-language pop rarely did. Alongside her music career - spanning albums produced by Lenny Kravitz and, most recently, Étienne Daho - she built a parallel acting career, winning both the César Award and the Prix Romy Schneider at the age of eighteen.
Vanessa Paradis performed in spring 2026 for sold-out venues in France as part of her first major tour in years.
Vanessa Paradis attended the Chanel Haute Couture show during Paris Fashion Week in January 2026.
On 10 October 2025, her eighth studio album 'Le retour des beaux jours' was released, seven years after her previous album 'Les Sources'.
The album was created in collaboration with Étienne Daho and Jean-Louis Piérot, recorded at Motorbass studio in Paris and at Abbey Road in London.
The single 'Bouquet Final', the first preview of the new album, was released in summer 2025.
