Tristan Renfrow is an American drummer and composer who moved to Amsterdam in 2012 after studying classical percussion and jazz at Lawrence University. Based in the Netherlands, he works as a freelance drummer and composer with a focus on improvisation and avant-garde music. He has performed with Bobby McFerrin, Gerald Clayton, Ben van Gelder and many others, and has won prizes at the Mechelen Jazz Contest, the Utrecht Jazz Competition, the International Jazz Award Zealand and the Leiden Jazz Award.
Tristan Renfrow performed at the Bimhuis as part of a percussion duo with South Korean drummer Sun-Mi Hong.
