Dot-Event
Niedorps Fanfare presents the seventh Dot-Event with Trijntje Oosterhuis as headliner, performing with regional vocalists, young soloists, and a local youth dance group.
Trijntje Oosterhuis is a Dutch singer who first made her name as the lead vocalist of Total Touch, the band she formed with her brother Tjeerd in 1990. After the group split, she built a solo career spanning pop, soul and jazz, collaborating with artists such as Burt Bacharach, Lionel Richie and the Metropole Orkest, and representing the Netherlands at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. She is one of the most recognisable voices in Dutch popular music, with a stage presence that has taken her from sold-out arenas to intimate theatre tours.
Trijntje Oosterhuis announced in May 2026 a jubilee show at Koninklijk Theater Carré on 9 May 2027, titled 'Van De Zee naar Carré', to celebrate her 30-year career - the first concert sold out within hours, after which a second show was added.
In autumn 2025 Trijntje went on tour through Dutch theaters with 'Trijntje Celebrating Stevie Wonder', a tribute to Stevie Wonder together with guitarist Leonardo Amuedo, on the occasion of his 75th birthday and the 50th anniversary of Songs in the Key of Life.
In December 2025 Trijntje Oosterhuis performed at multiple 'Soulful Christmas' concerts in churches and basilicas throughout the Netherlands, including in Haarlem, Apeldoorn and Oudenbosch.
In April 2025 Trijntje Oosterhuis was again part of Ladies of Soul, the annual soul collective that she has been forming for years with Edsilia Rombley, Glennis Grace and Candy Dulfer.
