Tom McRae (born Jeremy Thomas McRae Blackall, 1969, Chelmsford) is a British singer-songwriter whose self-titled 2000 debut earned nominations for the Mercury Prize, a BRIT Award and a Q Award. The son of two Church of England vicars, he taught himself guitar on his mother's instrument and has since built a catalogue of ten studio albums. Alongside his own work he has written for artists including Marianne Faithfull and regularly composes for orchestras across Europe. His debut went gold in France, and since 2021 he has divided his time between Paris and Wiltshire.
