De Verleiders: Zoek Dekking!
De Verleiders presents their comedy show 'Zoek Dekking!' at Kunstlinie in Almere with five seasoned performers.
Tom de Ket (born 1958 in Assen) is a Dutch actor, writer and director who trained at the Amsterdam Theatre School and went on to work with companies including Theatergroep Hollandia, Ro Theater and Het Zuidelijk Toneel. He became widely known as one half of the cabaret duo Van Houts en De Ket, touring the Netherlands from 1996 to 2010. In 2011 he co-founded De Verleiders with George van Houts and producer Inge Bos, a company that dissects corporate and political power through sharp satirical theatre. He has also created large-scale location productions such as Het Pauperparadijs and the musical 14, for which he received a Musical Award.
De Verleiders brought their eleventh production 'Zoek Dekking!' to premiere, a satire about the pension system and the insurance sector, with Tom de Ket as co-author and performer.
Tom de Ket tours with 'Zoek Dekking!' through theaters across the Netherlands, with performances scheduled until December 2026.
De Verleiders performed 'Bureau Buitenschot', their tenth production, a satire about the consulting industry, throughout the Netherlands.
Het Pauperparadijs, the location production by Tom de Ket, was shown again in the summer of 2024.
