Time Bandits is an Amsterdam-based new wave and funk band founded in 1981 by singer, guitarist and songwriter Alides Hidding. The group scored a string of international hits in the 1980s - from the US dance-chart staple "Live It Up" to the Australian number-one "I'm Only Shooting Love" - making them one of the most successful Dutch pop exports of the decade. After a hiatus in the late 1980s, Hidding has performed again as Time Bandits since 1995 with a rotating lineup.
