Threshold (UK) - Hypothetical 25th Anniversary Tour
British progressive metal band Threshold performs their classic album Hypothetical in full to mark its 25th anniversary.
Threshold are a British progressive metal band formed in 1988 in Surrey, known for melodic, keyboard-driven albums such as Hypothetical (2001) and the later Dividing Lines (2022). Guitarist and producer Karl Groom is the band's only ever-present member, alongside keyboardist Richard West since the debut; several singers have fronted the group over the decades, including Damian Wilson, with Glynn Morgan the settled frontman since 2017.
Threshold announced a European tour in October 2026 where the album Hypothetical will be played in full to celebrate the 25th anniversary.
The live recording of the performance at Rock Hard Festival 2025 will be released in September 2026 on CD and DVD.
Singer Glynn Morgan had to miss the remaining shows of 2024 after a throat operation and was replaced by substitute Alessio Garavello.
The band re-released remixed and remastered versions of the first four albums, Wounded Land, Psychedelicatessen, Extinct Instinct and Clone.
The twelfth studio album Dividing Lines was released on 18 November 2022 and reached the top 20 of the Swiss album chart.
