The Script are an Irish pop rock band founded in Dublin in 2001 by Danny O'Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power. Their 2008 debut album went straight to number one in both Ireland and the UK, launching a career that has produced six UK chart-topping albums and over 10 billion streams worldwide. Following the death of co-founder and guitarist Mark Sheehan in April 2023, the band continued with new members Ben Sargeant and Ben Weaver, releasing the album Satellites in 2024.
The Script announced their new album The User's Guide To Being Human, scheduled for release on August 14, 2026, with the single 'Man In The Arena' as a preview.
The band plays two shows at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on November 26 and 27, 2026 as part of the 'Man In The Arena Tour', with James Morrison as special guest.
