The Ramblers is the oldest professional jazz orchestra in the Netherlands, founded on 1 September 1926 by pianist and journalist Theo Uden Masman as a cabaret orchestra at Amsterdam's Tuschinski Theatre. The ensemble introduced swing to the Netherlands and became the resident orchestra of public broadcaster VARA in the 1930s, giving over two thousand radio performances. After a revival in 1974, the orchestra continues to perform today - in 2026 under the direction of trumpeter Loet van der Lee, blending its catalogue of classic Dutch-language hits and jazz standards with fresh arrangements.
The Ramblers gave in May 2026 the very first try-out of their 100-year anniversary tour in village hall De Blaercom in Blaricum, with new American singer Léah Kline as permanent soloist.
The 100-year anniversary tour is made possible in part by Het Cultuurfonds; the national highlight is a concert on 11 October at Spant! in Bussum.

In 2022, trumpeter Loet van der Lee became the new bandleader and new and existing pieces were arranged for the orchestra and singer Janne Schra.
