The Monsters are a Swiss three-piece from Bern, founded in 1986 by frontman Beat-Man. Their sound is a raw collision of sixties garage punk, lo-fi rock 'n' roll and psychobilly, deliberately far from any chart or mainstream polish. Over four decades they have toured Europe, the Americas and Asia, releasing ten albums on Voodoo Rhythm Records - the label Beat-Man runs himself.
The Monsters announce their tenth album 'Off The Road We Go', which will be released on October 16, 2026 on Voodoo Rhythm Records on the occasion of their forty-year anniversary.
The first single 'You Got Me Going' is available on all streaming platforms, accompanied by a music video directed by Beat-Mans daughter.
'Off The Road We Go' was recorded by Robert Butler in Bern and mastered by Jim Diamond at the Ghetto Recorders Studios in Detroit.
Following the announcement of the new album, the band will tour along the American East Coast, followed by European dates through 2027.
The Monsters performed on March 26, 2025 at the Botanique in Brussels as part of their European tour.
