The Legendary Pink Dots is an experimental band formed in London in 1980 by vocalist and lyricist Edward Ka-Spel. Their sound spans psychedelia, space rock and avant-garde, drawing comparisons to Syd Barrett-era Pink Floyd and Can. With over 40 albums to their name, they have built a devoted following across Europe and the US, and count The Dresden Dolls among acts who cite them as an influence.
