The Hickey Underworld are a Belgian garage/noise-rock band from Antwerp (Borgerhout), formed in 2004. The group broke through by winning Humo's Rock Rally in 2006 and built a reputation as one of Belgium's fiercest live acts with their self-titled debut album (2009, which peaked at number three on the Belgian charts) and releases such as 'Ill' (2015). After going quiet in 2016, the original line-up regrouped and released their fourth album, 'Cold Sun', in March 2026.

The fourth studio album 'Cold Sun' was released on 13 March 2026 via V2 Records, with the original line-up back together.
After the Belgian club shows, a concert at Rotown in Rotterdam is also scheduled for May 2026.
As a precursor to the album, the singles 'Euromancer' and 'Keep' were released.
After the break since 2016, the original line-up reunited in 2023 and the band released the singles 'Living On Big Foot' and 'Wall On The Fly'.
