The Del Fuegos are an American garage rock and roots rock band from Boston, formed in 1980 by brothers Dan and Warren Zanes alongside bassist Tom Lloyd and drummer Woody Giessmann. Through relentless touring and four studio albums on Slash Records and RCA, they built a devoted cult following in the 1980s, scoring radio and MTV airplay with 'Don't Run Wild' and 'I Still Want You'. Tom Petty was an outspoken fan who guested on one of their tracks and brought them along as an opening act on tour. After disbanding around 1990, the original lineup has reunited several times, including sold-out shows in 2024 and 2025.
The Del Fuegos performed two shows in December 2025 in the 'Home for the Holidays' series at City Winery in Boston and a performance in Montclair, New Jersey.
The band performed for a sold-out audience in Barcelona in spring 2025.
On 21 December 2024, The Del Fuegos played two sold-out reunion shows at City Winery in Boston.
In July 2023, The Del Fuegos reunited for the first time in more than ten years for a one-off performance in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
