The Bug is the project of British producer Kevin Richard Martin, active since 1990 across dub, dancehall, industrial hip hop and dubstep. His 2008 album 'London Zoo' is a landmark of UK bass music, while 'Fire' (Ninja Tune, 2021) earned near-universal critical acclaim with a Metacritic score of 85. Live, Martin is known for punishing, high-volume sets that pair crushing bass with guest MCs and vocalists. Alongside The Bug, he runs the Pressure label and records as King Midas Sound and Zonal.
