The Bluesbones

About

The Bluesbones are a Belgian blues-rock band founded in 2011 in Aalst, built around vocalist Nico De Cock, guitarist Stef Paglia, Hammond and Rhodes player Edwin Risbourg, bassist Geert Boeckx and drummer Jens Roelandt. They won the Belgian Blues Challenge in 2016, reached number one on both the UK IBBA Blues Charts and the US Blues/Rock Charts, and have played over 600 shows across Europe. Back-to-back wins at the Belgian Blues Awards - Best Band in 2024 and 2026, Best Album in 2025 - confirm their standing as one of the continent's leading live acts in the genre.
