Teardrinker & Terzij de Horde
Two Dutch bands for confrontational music: Teardrinker and Terzij de Horde bring post-hardcore, sludge and black metal to Willem Twee Fabriek.
Terzij de Horde are a post-black metal band from Utrecht, Netherlands, active since 2010. Their name - old Dutch for 'set apart from the horde' - is drawn from a poem by Hendrik Marsman, and that literary grounding runs through everything they do: Dutch-language lyrics rooted in philosophy and activism, a sound that fuses black metal with hardcore, screamo and progressive doom, and live shows of near-physical intensity. Alongside peers like Laster and Grey Aura, they have helped put the Utrecht black metal scene on the international map.
The third studio album 'Our Breath Is Not Ours Alone' was released on October 10, 2025 via Church Road Records, Tartarus Records and Fiadh Productions.
The band signed a contract with the British label Church Road Records for the release of 'Our Breath Is Not Ours Alone'.
Terzij de Horde is on the line-up of Lowlands 2026 in Biddinghuizen.
The band plays on February 26, 2026 at VERA in Groningen, the first concert of a new series of shows in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
International reviewers called 'Our Breath Is Not Ours Alone' one of the most striking black metal releases of 2025.
