Scottish indie rock legends Teenage Fanclub perform at Poppodium Bolwerk in Sneek.
Teenage Fanclub are a Scottish indie rock band from Glasgow, formed in 1989. Known for melodic guitar pop rooted in Big Star and Neil Young, they broke through with Bandwagonesque (1991) and reached the UK Albums Chart top three with Songs from Northern Britain (1997). Co-founder Gerard Love departed in 2018, leaving Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley to carry the band forward into its thirteenth studio album.
The new single 'Be With You Tonight', from the upcoming album Do Not Dare to Dream, was released on 9 September 2026.
Teenage Fanclub announced their thirteenth studio album Do Not Dare to Dream, scheduled for 9 October 2026 via Merge Records, along with the lead single 'Day in the Sun'.
The band announced a 35-concert European autumn tour, with performances in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Spain, France and the United Kingdom, among others.
Merge Records digitally re-released the collaboration Words of Wisdom and Hope (with Jad Fair), with two bonus tracks, on the occasion of Record Store Day 2026.
The twelfth studio album Nothing Lasts Forever was released on 22 September 2023 and received positive reviews.
