Surgeon is the alias of British DJ and producer Anthony Child, a key figure in the Birmingham techno scene since the 1990s. His sound is hard-edged and industrial, drawing on influences from both techno and experimental electronics. He has released extensively on labels such as Downwards and his own Dynamic Tension.
