Suicide Commando + BHPL
Suicide Commando and BHPL deliver an evening of industrial and electronic music at Baroeg Rotterdam.
Suicide Commando is the Belgian electro-industrial project of Johan Van Roy, founded in Leopoldsburg in 1986. Albums such as Mindstrip, Bind, Torture, Kill and the 2022 release Goddestruktor - which charted at number 9 on the official German album charts - have made it one of the most enduring acts in European EBM and dark electronic music. Live, Van Roy is joined by Torben Schmidt on keyboards and Mario Vaerewijck on drums.
Suicide Commando released the anniversary album Collective Suicide Vol. 2 on June 5, 2026 via Out Of Line Music, to mark the 40th anniversary of the project.
As a preview of Collective Suicide Vol. 2, the reworked single 'Come Down With Me (V2025)' was released via Out Of Line Music.
The EP Final Stage, featuring reworked classics and the new Dutch-language track 'De Weg', was released on July 18, 2025 via Out Of Line Music.
Johan Van Roy cancelled all remaining shows at the end of 2025 due to ongoing health problems, including performances in Sittard and Paris.
Van Roy announced that his first three studio albums will be released on vinyl, also available as a limited box set under the name 'Impressions of Death'.
