About
Squeeze are a British new wave and power pop band from London, formed in 1974. The songwriting partnership of Chris Difford and Glenn Tilbrook - often compared to Lennon and McCartney for their melodic craft - produced a string of sharply observed hits including "Up the Junction", "Cool for Cats" and "Tempted". After several hiatuses the band reunited in 2007 and have since played over 600 shows, releasing their sixteenth studio album Trixies in March 2026.
