About

Skraeckoedlan are a Swedish stoner and psychedelic rock band from Norrköping, formed in 2009. Their name comes from the Swedish title of the monster film The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms, roughly translating as 'terrifying lizard'. Singing entirely in Swedish about science fiction, cosmic creatures and mythological beasts, they have coined the term 'Fuzzience Fiction' for their sound. Across four studio albums - most notably Sagor (2015) and Eorþe (2019) - they have built a reputation as one of Scandinavia's most distinctive heavy acts.
