Sincere Engineer is a Chicago punk band built around singer-guitarist Deanna Belos, rounded out by drummer Adam Beck, guitarist Kyle Geib, and bassist Nick Arvanitis. Their sound weaves together emo, punk rock, and folk into something raw yet melodic. After debuting with 'Rhombithian' (2017) on Red Scare Industries, they signed to Hopeless Records in 2021 and have since released three more albums, most recently 'Probable Claws' in June 2026.
Sincere Engineer released their fourth studio album 'Probable Claws' on June 26, 2026 via Hopeless Records, featuring a spoken contribution from actor Wil Wheaton on the track 'LOL'.
The band announced the Probable Claws Tour, a North American tour running from July to September 2026, with cities including Denver, Phoenix, Austin, Houston and Philadelphia.
On May 1, 2025, Deanna Belos released the self-made documentary 'Nobody's Gonna Do It For You: Ten Years of Sincere Engineer' to mark the band's tenth anniversary, free to watch on YouTube and Veeps.
Sincere Engineer toured in 2024 as support for New Found Glory and released the single 'Parting Gift', a collaboration with Brendan Kelly.
