Sarah Jeffery is a British recorder player based in Amsterdam, equally at home in early and contemporary music. She graduated cum laude from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and was appointed Professor of Recorder at the Royal College of Music in London in 2022. Beyond her international solo career - spanning venues from Brazil to Singapore - she is a member of Amsterdam's Splendor collective and has built a global audience through her YouTube channel Team Recorder.
Sarah Jeffery is appointed in 2026 as European Ambassador for Early Music by the REMA European Early Music Network, together with Lucie Horsch.
Her teaching method 'The Hal Leonard Recorder Method' (2025) won a High Commendation at the UK Music & Drama Education Awards 2026.
Jeffery toured with the music theatre production 'For Real' by Resonate Productions through the Netherlands and Switzerland, and brought the production to the Next Wave Festival at BAM, New York.
She published her fourth book with Schott Music: 'My Favourite Melodies for alto recorder'.
Team Recorder was nominated for 'Best Media 2024' at the REMA European Early Music Awards.
