Saint Levant - AFANDI WORLD TOUR
Saint Levant performs the AFANDI WORLD TOUR at TivoliVredenburg.
Saint Levant is the stage name of Marwan Abdelhamid (Jerusalem, 2000), the son of a French-Algerian mother and a Serbian-Palestinian father. Growing up in Gaza and later Jordan, he channels that layered background into music that weaves Arabic, Maghrebi and Palestinian sounds together with R&B, hip-hop and pop - sung across Arabic, English and French. His 2022 viral single 'Very Few Friends' brought him international attention; he has since released two studio albums and performed at Coachella.
Saint Levant postpones his North American tour until spring 2027 due to unexpected US visa checks that can take months.
Saint Levant releases his second studio album 'Afandi' and announces the accompanying Afandi World Tour, with European stops in Amsterdam, Paris, Berlin and Stockholm, among others.
Prada appoints Saint Levant as brand ambassador - he is thus the first artist born in Palestine in the ambassador roster of the Italian fashion house.
Saint Levant tours Australia as part of the Rising arts festival in Melbourne.
The deluxe edition of the EP 'Love Letters / رسائل حب' is released with four new tracks and collaborations with artists from North Africa.
