About

Rush is a Canadian rock band formed in Toronto in 1968, whose blend of progressive rock and hard rock made them one of the most influential trios in rock history. Geddy Lee (bass, keyboards, vocals), Alex Lifeson (guitar) and the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart - who died in January 2020 - built a catalogue of 19 studio albums, from the epic 2112 (1976) to the concept album Clockwork Angels (2012), selling over 40 million records worldwide. The band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013.
