Rrose is the alter ego of California-born, London-based artist Seth Horvitz, a project named after Marcel Duchamp's female persona Rrose Sélavy. Debuting anonymously in 2011 through the Sandwell District label, Rrose broke through with the hypnotic track 'Waterfall' before establishing the Eaux imprint for solo and collaborative releases. The project sits at the crossroads of psychoacoustic techno, microtonality and avant-garde composition, and extends beyond the club into performances of works by 20th-century composers such as James Tenney and Charlemagne Palestine.
Rrose performed in February 2026 at Bite Nite, an event that combines post-punk and industrial glamour.
