Roman Griffin Davis (London, 2007) is a British actor who made his film debut at age eleven in the title role of Taika Waititi's Jojo Rabbit (2019) - his very first professional screen appearance. The performance earned him a Golden Globe nomination and the Critics' Choice Award for Best Young Performer. Son of cinematographer Ben Davis and writer-director Camille Griffin, he has since built a steady international career with roles in Silent Night (2021), The Long Walk (2025) and Greenland 2: Migration (2026).
500 Miles, the road movie in which Davis plays the lead role alongside Bill Nighy, was released on 26 June 2026 in the United Kingdom after a premiere at the Dublin International Film Festival in February.
Greenland 2: Migration, in which Davis plays the role of Nathan Garrity alongside Gerard Butler and Morena Baccarin, premiered on 9 January 2026 in the United States.
The Long Walk, the Stephen King adaptation directed by Francis Lawrence, was released in cinemas on 12 September 2025; Davis plays the role of Adam 'Curly' White in it.
Davis voiced Walter Dickens in the animated film The King of Kings, alongside Kenneth Branagh and Uma Thurman.
Davis was added to the cast of The Long Walk in July 2024, the Lionsgate adaptation of Stephen King's novel of the same name, with production already in full swing.
