🎬 Rodrigo

About

Rodrigo is an early baroque opera by Georg Friedrich Handel, composed around 1707 and one of his first Italian-language works. Set at the court of the Visigoth king Rodrigo, it weaves together political intrigue, jealousy and forgiveness. The opera was long thought lost until a substantial portion of the score was rediscovered.
