Robert van Hemert (born 15 March 1993 in Leiden) is a Dutch levenslied and pop singer who worked as a house painter before music became his full-time career. He rose to national fame by winning the SBS6 talent show De Hollandse Nieuwe in 2022, which earned him a slot at Toppers in Concert at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. His 2023 single 'Zoet, Zout, Zuur' became a major summer hit in 2024, accumulating close to 70 million streams and a gold record, with further hit singles following in its wake.
Van Hemert announced his biggest solo show to date: on April 23, 2027 he will perform 'Daar Moët Je Heen' for the first time at AFAS Live in Amsterdam.
Alongside the announcement of the AFAS Live show, Van Hemert released the new single 'Zandloopster'.
Van Hemert participated in the sixth season of the RTL 4 program De Verraders and won the program together with Géza Weisz.
Van Hemert received a gold record in the program Shownieuws for 10 million streams of his single 'Mona Lisa'.
Van Hemert released the duet 'Ik zal er zijn' together with Kimberly Fransens, which was awarded the Oranje Kroon by TV Oranje.
