Rob Urgert (The Hague, 1968) is a Dutch cabaret performer, television presenter and trained food scientist who holds a doctorate from Wageningen University. He became widely known through the satirical VARA show Kopspijkers and went on to co-create a string of popular-science television programmes with Joep van Deudekom, including De Kwis, Het Instituut and Wie denk je wel dat je bent?. His work blends dry wit with scientific rigour.
