Rising Risk is a four-piece hardcore/metalcore band from The Hague whose heavy riffs and chugs have been making waves in the local live scene. Drawing on acts like Knocked Loose, Kublai Khan TX and Orthodox, they blend hardcore aggression with modern metalcore. After appearances at Battle of the Bands, POB Breda and the Strandwalfestival, they made their recorded debut in 2025 with the singles 'Velvet Cage' and 'Lexicon', followed by their first EP.
Rising Risk released their debut EP on October 17, 2025, with an accompanying release show at Musicon Den Haag.
The band released their first single 'Velvet Cage' in August 2025, which quickly achieved more than 1000 streams on Spotify.
Shortly after 'Velvet Cage', the second single 'Lexicon' was released.
