Rishi Dhir is a Canadian musician, songwriter and sitarist, and the driving force behind Montreal psychedelic rock project Elephant Stone. For two decades he has woven Western psych-pop and Indian classical traditions - sitar, tabla, dilruba - into a sound entirely his own. His tenth album, ASHA, named after his late mother, is the most personal record he has made.
The tenth studio album ASHA was released on August 28, 2026 via Elephants On Parade/Little Cloud Records.
Elephant Stone announced a North American tour in September 2026, with European dates also on the schedule.
The band released the first single 'Everything Evil' as a preview of ASHA.
Elephant Stone released the demo EP Back Into the Garage, featuring early versions of songs from the 2024 album Back Into the Dream.
The album Back Into the Dream was released on February 23, 2024 and was entirely produced by Dhir himself in his home studio Sacred Sounds.
