About

Rinus Gerritsen (The Hague, 1946) is the bassist and co-founder of Golden Earring, the rock band he started in 1961 with his neighbour George Kooymans. With "Radar Love" (1973) and "Twilight Zone" (1982) the band became the most internationally successful Dutch rock act ever, scoring nearly thirty top-ten singles in the Netherlands and two US top-ten hits. After Golden Earring disbanded in 2021, Gerritsen has remained active as a producer, theatre storyteller and solo artist.

    Gerritsen released his first self-written solo single in over 45 years: "Live Up To Your Love" with Berget Lewis, the start of his monthly release project Rinus Garage.
