Richard Durand (born Richard van Schooneveld, Amsterdam, 5 April 1976) is a Dutch trance DJ and producer who has been a fixture of the international scene for over two decades. After Tiësto named him his 'Tip for the Top in 2007' in DJ Magazine, he took over the iconic In Search of Sunrise compilation series from his mentor, helming six editions between 2010 and 2015. His fifth studio album Reactivate came out in 2022, and in 2026 he co-produced 'Always You' with Armin van Buuren as the official A State of Trance 2026 ELEVATION anthem.
