Ten Years After
The legendary British blues-rock band Ten Years After returns with a fresh line-up led by founder Ric Lee, who performed at Woodstock in 1969.
Ric Lee (born 20 October 1945 in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire) is the English drummer and co-founder of Ten Years After, the blues-rock band formed in Nottingham in 1966. Their August 1969 Woodstock performance - captured in the festival film - brought the band a global audience and turned subsequent albums into transatlantic chart hits. After the existing line-up dissolved in September 2024, Lee assembled a new band and resumed touring across the UK and Europe in 2025 and 2026.
The new Ten Years After line-up played its first shows in the UK in January 2026, including a performance in London on 21 January.
On 20 March 2026, Ten Years After performed at De Pul in Uden, the first confirmed Dutch show of the new line-up.
The official website announced that Ric Lee is bringing Ten Years After back in 2026 for new UK and European tours and a new album.
In September 2024, the then-current line-up - with co-founder Chick Churchill - announced they were breaking up; Lee immediately announced he would form a new line-up.
In early 2025, the new line-up was announced: Ric Lee, guitarist Samuel C. Lees, bassist Craig Fletcher and keyboardist Dave Burgoyne.
