Rhapsody of Fire is an Italian symphonic power metal band founded in Trieste in 1993 by guitarist Luca Turilli and keyboardist Alex Staropoli, widely regarded as pioneers of the subgenre. They are known for their lavish orchestral arrangements, epic fantasy storytelling, and a celebrated collaboration with actor Sir Christopher Lee. After a name change in 2006 due to a trademark dispute, the current lineup released their fourteenth studio album, 'Challenge the Wind', in 2024.

In October 2024, the band performed in Tokyo for the first time in more than five years as part of their Japan tour.
The band commemorated the 20th anniversary of 'Symphony of Enchanted Lands II', the album featuring narrations by Sir Christopher Lee.
On May 31, 2024, 'Challenge the Wind', the band's fourteenth studio album, was released via AFM Records.
