Rachel Chinouriri (born 1 November 1998 in London, raised in Croydon) is a British singer-songwriter of Zimbabwean heritage signed to Parlophone. Her 2024 debut album What a Devastating Turn of Events broke into the UK top 20 and earned her two BRIT Award nominations - Artist of the Year and Best New Artist. Blending indie folk and alternative pop with confessional lyricism, she has drawn comparisons to Phoebe Bridgers and established herself as one of the most talked-about British artists of her generation.
