Quatuor Ébène is a French string quartet founded in 1999. The ensemble is known for its wide-ranging repertoire, spanning classical chamber music and jazz, and took first prize at the International Chamber Music Competition in Bordeaux in 2004. Multiple Grammy nominations and recordings on the Erato label have cemented its place among the most prominent string quartets active today.
