Plastic Family is a Dutch power-pop band built around strong songwriting, drawing on the golden era of pop - from Wings and Supertramp to Big Star and Raspberries. The five-piece features seasoned players from the Dutch underground: Gijs de Jong (MOOON, The Colour Collection), Fleur Elman (FLEUR, The Colour Collection), Frankie Fuzz (Frankie's Strange Machine), Jim Remers and Jan Kleijn (The Hook). Their debut 7" single "Love & Heartbreak in High School" b/w "TV Screen" was released on 13 February 2026 via Echo Archive Recordings.
Plastic Family performed at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht on July 10, 2026.
The band played on Record Store Day 2026 (April 18) at Velvet Music in Leiden and at Plato in Zwolle.
On March 5, 2026, Plastic Family celebrated the release of their debut single with their first official Dutch show at Cinetol Amsterdam.
The debut 7" single "Love & Heartbreak in High School" b/w "TV Screen" was released on February 13, 2026 on Echo Archive Recordings on colored vinyl.
