Pelican Dealer is a Belgian indie rock band from Leuven, formed by brothers Jasper and Mats Mulier as a living-room project and later expanded to a five-piece with Daan Pyfferoen, Michiel Van Acker and Dries Janssen. Their off-kilter indie rock, shot through with melancholy, has earned them a reputation for intense live shows - including two sold-out nights at the Ancienne Belgique supporting acts like XINK, RHEA and Zornik. Named Sound Track Laureates in 2023, they released their debut EP 'Tragic Dancing' in 2025 and followed it with 'Eyes On The Prize' (2026), produced by David Poltrock.
The EP 'Eyes On The Prize' was released on 28 May 2026, presented during a release show at Het Depot in Leuven which was moved to the main hall due to high demand.
The single 'Coming Around' was released as a precursor to the EP 'Eyes On The Prize' and was described by Luminous Dash as Britpop mixed with dance.
The single 'Fever Season' was released on 23 January 2026 and was crowned 'Song Of The Day' by Radio Willy on the release day, after which the track immediately went into rotation.
The debut EP 'Tragic Dancing', produced by Damien Vanderhasselt (Millionaire, Sons, ILA), was presented in March 2025 during a sold-out release show at Het Depot.
In November 2024, the band released the single 'New Frustrations' as the first taste of the upcoming debut EP 'Tragic Dancing'.
