Party Animals are an Amsterdam-based happy hardcore act founded in 1995 by producers Flamman & Abraxas. They made history as the first act in the Netherlands to send their first three singles straight to number one - 'Have You Ever Been Mellow?', 'Hava Naquila' and 'Aquarius', all in 1996. After a hiatus from 2000 to 2002, they have been continuously active, performing at parties, festivals and events across the Netherlands.
Party Animals released a new version of 'Funny' in January 2025, a song written in the late nineties by Peter-Paul Pigmans (3 Steps Ahead) and re-produced by Jeroen Flamman.
In April 2026, Party Animals were again on the program in Dokkum, one of the fixed recurring locations in their Dutch performance schedule.
In June 2025, the group performed in Breda, as part of their ongoing schedule at Dutch party venues.
In 2023, a completely renewed quartet took over as the permanent lineup: Rick, Roderick, Tim and Dalí Mesquita replaced the previous generation of members.
