Paquito D'Rivera is a Cuban-born saxophonist and clarinetist who helped found the group Irakere before building an international career in jazz and Latin music. He blends Afro-Cuban rhythms with jazz and classical influences and has earned multiple Grammy Awards. Besides performing, he is known for giving workshops and masterclasses to younger musicians.
