Overmono is a Welsh electronic duo made up of brothers Tom and Ed Russell, originally from Overmonnow near Monmouth. Before joining forces, Tom recorded as Truss (hard techno) and Ed as Tessela (drum and bass and rave). Together they fuse rave, techno, UK garage and R&B into a sound that works equally well in clubs and on festival main stages. Their debut album 'Good Lies' (2023) reached number 11 on the UK Albums Chart to universal critical acclaim; their second album 'Pure Devotion' followed in August 2026 on XL Recordings.
The second studio album 'Pure Devotion' (XL Recordings) was released on 7 August 2026, with contributions from John Joseph Holt, Kindora, Ruthven and Rock Floyd.
Overmono announced 'Pure Devotion' with the new single 'Lockup' and an accompanying world tour.
The Pure Devotion World Tour brings the duo to Amsterdam (Gashouder, 11 November) and Brussels (15 November) in November 2026.
Overmono performed on the West Holts stage at Glastonbury in 2025 and played headline shows at Boomtown and AVA Festival.
In 2025 they released the singles 'Paradise Runner' and 'Lippy' (with Joy Orbison and Skiifall), plus an edit of High Contrast's 'If We Ever'.
