Optimo (Espacio)

About

Optimo (Espacio) is a Scottish DJ act from Glasgow, founded in 1997 by Keith McIvor (JD Twitch) and Jonnie Wilkes (JG Wilkes). Their Sunday-night residency at the Sub Club became one of Europe's most influential club nights, built on a music policy that moved freely between post-punk, techno, disco, dub and no wave. Following the death of JD Twitch on 19 September 2025, JG Wilkes continues under the Optimo (Espacio) name, holding residencies at Phonox in London, Nitsa in Barcelona and Berkeley Suite in Glasgow.
