About
Onslaught are a British thrash metal band from Bristol, formed in 1982 by guitarist Nige Rockett. Rooted in hardcore punk, they helped shape the British thrash scene with their early albums Power from Hell (1985) and The Force (1986). After disbanding in 1991 they reformed in 2005 and have since toured over 70 countries. In 2022 they were inducted into the Metal Hall of Fame.
