About

OGENE (formerly OG3NE) is a Dutch vocal trio made up of sisters Lisa, Amy and Shelley Vol, from Fijnaart in the Netherlands. They became the first trio ever to win an international edition of The Voice when they took The Voice of Holland in 2014, and went on to represent the Netherlands at Eurovision 2017 in Kyiv with 'Lights and Shadows'. In 2025 they released Garden of Hera, their debut concept album, written and produced independently after nearly three years of creative reinvention.

OGENE bracht de EP Garden of Hera Live uit, met onder meer de virale live-opname van 'Thera-P' en een liveversie van 'Phenomenon'.

Muziekblad OOR prees Garden of Hera als een sterk, modern R&B-album met soul-, funk- en disco-invloeden.

OGENE bracht op 14 maart 2025 het conceptalbum Garden of Hera uit als zelfstandige release, na bijna drie jaar schrijven en produceren.

De groep hernoemde zich van OG3NE naar OGENE en kondigde een nieuwe artistieke koers aan met de single 'Phenomenon'.
