About

Obsidian Tide is a three-piece progressive/death/post-metal band from the suburbs of Tel Aviv, Israel, formed in 2012 by Oz Avneya (guitars, clean vocals), Shachar Bieber (bass, harsh vocals) and Erez Nadler (drums). Their debut EP *Debris* appeared in 2015, followed by the concept album *Pillars of Creation* (2019) and the widely praised *The Grand Crescendo* (2023), which earned the band international recognition. Festival appearances across Europe - including ProgPower Europe - have cemented their reputation as a compelling live act.
