New Model Army are an English post-punk rock band from Bradford, formed in 1980 by vocalist and guitarist Justin Sullivan. Blending punk energy with folk influences and sharply political lyrics, they have built a devoted following across Europe over more than four decades. Albums such as 'The Ghost of Cain' (1986) and 'Thunder and Consolation' (1989) are landmarks of the genre, and their 16th studio album 'Unbroken' (2024) showed the band still at full force.
