Nationale Opera & Ballet is the Netherlands' largest performing arts institution, based in Amsterdam. It brings together an opera company and a ballet company under one roof at the Muziektheater on the Amstel river, working closely with the Nederlands Philharmonisch Orkest. The company stages both classic and contemporary productions and regularly tours across the country.
